TERMS OF SERVICE OF THE TRIPERINO SERVICE

§ 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") define the rules for using the Triperino internet service available at triperino.com (hereinafter "Service").

The owner and administrator of the Service is Maksymilian Blok conducting business under the name Maksymilian Blok Codemaxi, NIP: 5911713026, with registered office at ul. Akacjowa 21, Grabowo Kościerskie, 83-403 Grabowo Kościerskie, Poland (hereinafter "Administrator").

The Service is a travel platform enabling users to:

  • Browse travel guides and country guides with practical information
  • Search for interesting places to visit (attractions, restaurants, hotels, parks, museums)
  • Search for tourist and cultural events
  • Use the "Fast Trip" feature for quick, spontaneous trip planning
  • Plan detailed, collaborative trips with full itinerary, expenses, documents, and members
  • Configure user profile with travel preferences (currency, vehicle, allergies, favorite place types)
  • Add own content: reviews, ratings, comments, and photos
  • Store trip data locally without registration (local mode)

Use of the Service is voluntary and requires acceptance of these Terms. By registering an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms in full.

§ 2. DEFINITIONS

User – a natural person at least 16 years of age (or younger with the consent of a legal representative in jurisdictions that allow it) who uses the Service.

Account – an individualized part of the Service protected by a login (username or e-mail) and password, containing the User's data, preferences, and settings.

Content – all information, texts, photos, documents, comments, reviews, ratings, trip data, and other materials created or posted in the Service by Users or the Administrator.

Trip – a set of data constituting a travel plan created by the User, including itinerary, expenses, documents, photos, members, and collaborative elements.

Personal Data – information about an identified or identifiable natural person, as defined in Art. 4(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Administrator – Maksymilian Blok Codemaxi, who is both the owner and the operator of the Service.

Premium Service – paid functionalities that may be introduced in the future, subject to separate terms and pricing.

§ 3. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT

The Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, subject to technical and maintenance breaks. Some features are available without registration (browsing guides, searching places/events, local trip mode).

To use the full functionality of the Service, an Account must be created by providing:

  • A valid e-mail address
  • A password (minimum 8 characters)
  • A unique username (minimum 3 characters)

The User undertakes to:

  • Provide true and current data during registration
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials and not share them with third parties
  • Immediately notify the Administrator of any unauthorized use of their Account
  • Use the Service in accordance with the law, good customs, and these Terms
  • Activate the account via the activation link sent to the provided e-mail address

§ 4. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE

The Service provides the following functionalities free of charge:

  • Country guides: comprehensive travel guides with information about safety, health, transport, budget, attractions, and cultural tips
  • Place search: searching for places to visit with filtering by category, location, distance, price; viewing place details, reviews, and ratings
  • Event search: searching for tourist and cultural events with filtering by category, date, location, price, and type
  • Fast Trip: quick, spontaneous trip planning based on user location, date range, and preferences
  • Extended Trip Planning: detailed collaborative trip management including day-by-day itinerary, transportation, accommodation, expenses tracking, member management, document/photo storage, voting, and comments
  • Local Trip Mode: ability to plan trips locally in the browser without registration
  • User Profile: managing travel preferences (currency, vehicle, fuel, allergies, place types, event categories)
  • User-generated content: adding reviews, ratings, comments, and photos for places and events
  • Geocoding: address search and location services powered by Mapbox and Photon

The Administrator reserves the right to modify, expand, or restrict the scope of available features, with appropriate prior notice to Users.

§ 5. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

The User is prohibited from:

  • Providing false personal data or creating accounts with identities of other persons
  • Infringing copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of the Administrator or third parties
  • Posting offensive, vulgar, discriminatory, defamatory, or illegal content
  • Publishing content that violates the privacy or personal rights of other persons
  • Interfering with the technical operation of the Service or attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, databases, or other users' accounts
  • Using the Service for commercial purposes, spam distribution, or advertising without the Administrator's written consent
  • Using automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or download Service content without authorization
  • Circumventing security measures, including CAPTCHA or rate limiting
  • Uploading files containing viruses, malware, or other harmful software
  • Impersonating other users or the Administrator

Violation of the above rules may result in immediate suspension or deletion of the Account, without prejudice to the Administrator's right to pursue claims.

§ 6. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

Users may add their own content, including reviews, ratings, opinions, photos, comments, trip data, and documents. The User retains intellectual property rights to the content they create.

By adding content to the Service, the User grants the Administrator a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content within the scope of the Service's operation and promotion. This license remains in effect for the duration of the content's presence in the Service.

The Administrator reserves the right to moderate content and remove any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of third parties, without prior notice.

The User bears full responsibility for the content they publish and declares that they hold all necessary rights and permissions to publish such content.

§ 7. PAYMENTS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

Currently, the Service is provided free of charge. All features described in § 4 are available without charge.

The Administrator reserves the right to introduce paid features (Premium Service) in the future. In such case, the introduction of paid features will be preceded by: clear information about pricing and scope of paid features, and the requirement to obtain the User's separate consent before activating any paid service.

If paid features are introduced, the User will be entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal from the contract (for EU consumers), in accordance with Art. 27 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of May 30, 2014, unless the User expressly consents to the commencement of service provision before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledges the loss of the right of withdrawal.

Detailed payment terms, subscription models, refund policies, and cancellation procedures will be defined in separate terms applicable to the Premium Service.

§ 8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content and materials within the Service created by the Administrator (including but not limited to: software code, graphic design, logos, texts, database structure, country guides, and curated place/event data) are protected by intellectual property rights and are the exclusive property of the Administrator or used under license.

The User may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use the Service's content for commercial purposes without the Administrator's prior written consent.

Third-party materials used in the Service (such as OpenStreetMap map tiles, Mapbox geocoding data, Google Fonts) are subject to the license terms of their respective rights holders.

§ 9. PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY

The detailed rules for collecting, processing, and protecting personal data are defined in the Privacy Policy, which constitutes an integral part of these Terms and is available at: triperino.com/privacy-policy.

By using the Service, the User acknowledges that the Service uses cookies, Google Analytics 4 for traffic analysis, and Google reCAPTCHA v3 for bot protection. Detailed information about cookies is provided in § 7 of the Privacy Policy.

§ 10. LIABILITY AND WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

The Administrator makes every effort to ensure that the information and data in the Service are current and accurate, but does not guarantee their completeness, accuracy, or suitability for a particular purpose. Travel-related information (guides, places, events) is of an informational nature and does not constitute professional travel advice.

The Administrator is not liable for: damages resulting from the use of information contained in the Service, actions or omissions of third-party service providers (Google, Mapbox, OpenStreetMap, etc.), temporary unavailability of the Service due to technical failures, maintenance, or force majeure.

The User uses the Service at their own risk and responsibility. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

These limitations of liability do not apply to consumers to the extent that they are inconsistent with mandatory provisions of consumer protection law.

§ 11. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

The Administrator reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete a User's Account in the following cases:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Posting illegal or harmful content
  • Using the Service in a manner that threatens its security or the security of other Users
  • Failure to activate the account within 30 days of registration
  • Providing false registration data
  • Upon request of authorized public authorities

The User may delete their Account at any time by contacting the Administrator at support@triperino.com. Upon account deletion, all data associated with the account will be deleted in accordance with the data retention periods described in the Privacy Policy.

In the event of Account suspension, the Administrator will make every effort to inform the User of the reason for the suspension and provide an opportunity to present their position before the Account is permanently deleted.

§ 12. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (EU CONSUMERS)

If the User is a consumer within the European Union, they have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU and the Polish Consumer Rights Act of May 30, 2014.

Given that the Service currently provides free-of-charge electronic services that begin immediately upon account activation, the User may withdraw by simply deleting their Account. In the event that paid services are introduced in the future, the User will be informed of the right of withdrawal and its exceptions in the relevant terms.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the User should send a clear statement of their decision to the Administrator at: support@triperino.com.

§ 13. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland.

Any disputes arising from the use of the Service will be resolved by Polish courts competent for the Administrator's registered office.

Consumers within the European Union may also use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform provided by the European Commission, available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

In the case of consumers, the applicable provisions of consumer protection law take precedence over these Terms to the extent they provide broader protection.

§ 14. AMENDMENTS TO THE TERMS

The Administrator reserves the right to amend these Terms. Users will be informed of significant changes at least 14 days before the changes take effect, through a notice in the Service and, where possible, via e-mail to the address associated with the Account.

Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms. If the User does not agree with the changes, they should stop using the Service and may delete their Account.

In the case of changes that negatively affect the rights of the User-consumer, the User will be given the option to terminate the contract without incurring costs.

§ 16. FINAL PROVISIONS

In matters not regulated by these Terms, the provisions of Polish law shall apply, in particular the Civil Code, the Act on Providing Electronic Services, the Consumer Rights Act, and the GDPR.

These Terms enter into force on April 15, 2026.
